You don't have to be as adventurous as Jonathan, or book a round-the-world ticket tomorrow. Start with a trip that feels manageable, maybe a UK weekend break, or a short-haul flight to somewhere you've been before. Build your confidence with one successful trip, and the next one will feel easier. Then the one after that. Before you know it, you'll be planning adventures you never thought possible.
