HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SUPPORT LEVEL
All of our garments are tested on the world's first 'Whole Garment Testing Apparatus (patent pending)', developed by Comfizz for the most accurate measurement of support. No other ostomy company does this.
Why this matters? - it means you get carefully monitored accurate levels of support from every garment. Everything is designed to give a specific level of compression for its recommended use. Nothing on the high street can offer you this.
Level 1 - Light Support - Provides compression in the range 300 - 600 Pascals.
The lightest level of support on offer. Soft, gentle support that is comfortable enough to wear all day, every day and even over night without restricting stoma flow.
Perfect choice of support wear for:
All Level 1 garments are Seamless and breathable making them super comfy.
Level 2 - Medium Support - Provides compression in the range 600 - 900 Pascals
The next level of support offers medium levels of compression, ideal for your next stage in recovery when life is returning to normal, you are fully healed, and becoming more active.
Perfect choice of support wear for:
Managing a small to medium-sized hernia
All Level 2 garments are Seamless and breathable, making them a super comfy option for mid-range support that's still comfortable enough to be worn all day.
Level 3 - Firm Support - Provides compression above 900+ Pascals
The firmest level of support on offer. Provides strong compression, mostly in the form of adjustable belts. If your stoma is sensitive, then the belts with an aperture to bring the bag through would be the best option. Not always practical to wear all day, every day, so it is often used alongside a level 2 garment to maintain support at all times.
Perfect choice of support wear for:
Managing a medium to large-sized hernia
Use your level 3 firm support garment in any situation where there will be high strain on the abdominal area
