At the age of 3 years old I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer which left me as double ostomate (colostomy & urostomy). Growing up I wondered what would become of my life. Through my journey and faith, I discovered who I could be in spite of my medical circumstances. My insecurities did not change overnight, but I learned to be a survivor, love every part of me internally and externally. We have the ability to make a difference, to change lives, be role models, and be all that we can be. My purpose through my ostomy journey is to be a difference maker.
