Why not bring joy into your life when times are hard. I say do you, get the decorations up if you want, and start the festivities when you want to.

Tuesday 21st June 2022 marks the launch of Comfizz' new products - our garments which have been largely made from materials such as organic cotton and bamboo. As a valued new, or existing customer, I'm sure you will have questions surrounding this launch, which is why we decided to put it all down here for you to read at your leisure (and maybe with a cup of tea and a biscuit too!)

It is natural for endless questions to be whirring around your head and to feel apprehensive about the answers or not knowing where to go for answers. One of these questions that we know a lot of ostomates have after surgery, as they start to recover, is "what clothes can I wear with a stoma?" Many people panic that they'll have to dress in clothes that don't reflect the person they are and/or spend their lives hiding in baggy clothes.

As the wedding season began and the backlog of weddings put on hold due to Covid starting to fill the diaries, I was honoured to be Maid of Honour for my best friend. We have been friends over half our lives, met in school and as the old saying goes, the rest is history. Weddings are an exciting occasion for anyone, but when it's for someone as close to your heart as this, it means so much more.

With the UK seeing our first week of high temperatures this year as I look outside the window, the sun is beaming and I’m wondering why I still have a jumper on as I wasn’t prepared for such weather! I make a mental note to have a wardrobe sort out over the Easter half term as I look for outfits for the warmer weather. 

How wonderful is it that we can look forward to the festive season, the chance to dress up and make memories with our nearest and dearest. Last year we certainly weren’t in the same position, but we are now in a much hopeful and positive position that we can think about what we will get up to, and what we can wear to sparkly in the festive season.

In an ideal world you would leave hospital with your baby (poorly or not), and the leaflets fall into your lap about support whether it be practical, emotional or financial. For me a lot of what I am about to share had to be found as I went along. Unfortunately there are disadvantages according to where you live in the UK, as to what access you have to some of them. That is why I felt it so important to keep the conversation going in the hope others will find out this information much quicker than I did.
