Do you find that some of the products you can get from your delivery/appliance companies to hold your ostomy items seems a bit clinical or not quite your style? Well a new company called Beyond Definition has come up with a new way to carry your supplies that don’t look clinical and are both unisex and well made.
I was gifted both their essentials case and the venture case and I think they are really beautiful and look quite classy in plain black leather. The attention to detail is also really nice for instance the company name is embossed onto the case and their logo is on the press studs. It’s the little things that really make an item in my opinion.
The essentials case is exactly that just for your bare minimal items for a quick change. It can easily fit into a bag or a blokes coat pocket and not look like it is holding a stoma bag, disposable bags etc. It is perfect for going out for the night either a one night stay or just popping to the pub. It reminds me of a larger version of a man’s coin purse (I work with the elderly so I have seen plenty of them!)
The venture case is larger and more suited for a short trip away and can be hung up with the sections inside allowing for a make shift
shelf. It has plenty of pockets and sections to retain some order to your supplies which when your bag is leaking helps to keep you calm or at least it does in my case! What I also like about it is that it doesn’t take up a great deal of space which means it won’t take up valuable luggage space!
